Healing@home May 19th, 2013
We decided that my hometown was the right place for us to heal for a few days. And so we did.
There was one day I thought I was going to die. Somehow the ambulance took me to the hospital in time and I was there for more hours then I would want to, but I survived. Again.
Despite all that, being at home helped us heal. A lot. That, and having the best parents on earth. I love you so much, you know that.
I had my surgical staples removed while I was there…and the nurse who took them?…was the very same woman that held me when I was born.30 years ago.
